Front Entrance

An unassuming front entrance, clad in weathered sandstone and located on the home’s terrace level, leads to an entry vestibule. A staircase directs visitors from this basement area to the main floor. “We decided to bring people in the lower level, so we didn’t have to have these towering stairs in the front,” says architect Steve Kemp. “You come in and go up the stairs and the house opens up to you.”
