While the overall color palette of a cottage kitchen is subtle and slightly understated, fun pops of color and texture are what give the design a casual, but family-friendly style. For example, a kitchen with white cabinetry might pair well with a pale yellow kitchen island that has been decorated with antique-finished knobs and handles. Consider completing this kitchen design with pub-style seating covered in a sweet pattern, like pale pink with white polka dots.
